MUG CAKE

• Mug cakes have grown popular in the earlier times.
• It is literally a cake that is made in a mug.
• It is typically made in the microwave.
• They are popular because they’re easy to make and curb your sugar and chocolate yearnings.
• A mug cake is a great substitute to tweak that desire in the bud!

➢ This is my own variety of the chocolate mug cake. This chocolaty fudgy delight is truly decadent and boundless for nights when someone desires a scrumptious sweet tooth and painless to make. Chocolate chips and vanilla ice cream is cherry on the cake.



What all is required for making this best and quicker cake…


Preparation time = 5-10 minutes
Cooking time = 3-5 minutes

Equipments = Small Bowl for mixing preferable glass, Microwaveable mug, Toothpick or Fork, Microwave, measuring spoons if available.

INGREDIENTS

1) 1 packet of Any Chocolate Biscuit That You Like - Hide & seek, oreo, unibic,
2) 5-6 tbsp of Milk
3) Chocolate Chips (optional)
4) 2-3 Big Pieces of Chocolate or Nutella for more chocolaty taste(optional)




METHOD

1) Firstly take 1 packet of the biscuit of your choice from the above recommendations.
2) Keep 2-3 biscuits aside and grind the others till you get a fine powder mixture.
3) Pour the Grinded biscuits in a bowl.
4) Start adding milk with a spoon and whisk it.
5) Once the batter is smooth enough add some chocolate chips to it (optional).
6) Now your batter is ready, if you like some other toppings you can go with them as well
7) Grease the mug with ghee or butter.
8) Pour the batter in the mug and put it in microwave.
9) Alternatively, u can mix in the mug itself if comfortable
10) Microwave it for 40-50 seconds.
11) Once it’s done take it out of the microwave and check if it’s fully cooked through toothpick or fork, if not put it back in the microwave for 10-20 seconds.
12) After taking the mug out of the microwave take the biscuits that you kept aside in the beginning.
13) Crush the biscuits with your hand and decorate your mug cake with it, also put some chocolate chips.
14) You can also add the toppings of your choice.
15) And your mug cake is ready..!!!

For variation one can add
• Sliced Almonds/Cashews for crunchiness
• You can also add some Tutti Frooti.
• You can also add Chocolate Sauce for decoration for extra chocolaty treat.





TIPS & TRICKS

• Take care not to over mix as it can harden the cake
• No over baking! Few seconds are sufficient and if required increase the seconds by 5 or 10 and check and repeat.
• No Metal or silver Coatings for the decoration or on the mug during microwave, can cause reaction.

• Alternate to Microwave – OTG can be used.
• Prepared batter can be kept in refrigerator for 24 – 48 hours and directly microwaved before use and prepared cake can be eaten during 24hours time.
• Warmer or Cooler is the personal choice. Along with vanilla ice cream is an alternate to brownie with topping of chocolate sauce.
