Cooking Time: 90 minutes
Serves: 6 -8 people

Ingredients-

1. 1 and ¼ cup all-purpose maida.
2. 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder
3. ½ teaspoon baking soda, ½ tablespoon baking powder
4. ½ cup Softened butter. (Do not melt the butter. Keep the butter at room temp. To get the desired texture )
5. 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
6. 1 cup of powdered white sugar. ( You can also switch it up with brown sugar)
7. 1 tablespoon red food color
8. ½ cup white chocolate chips
9. 2 Tablespoon milk

Recipe

Step One - First things first, let’s make the perfect dough. To start with beat the butter and sugar in a clean bowl till you get a fluffy texture. In a separate bowl, mix baking soda, baking powder, cocoa powder, and all maida.

Step Two - Add Vanilla extract and food color to the butter and sugar bowl and mix well.

Step Three - Combine the ingredients of the two bowls and stir well.

Step Four - Feel free to be hands-on, and mix well. If the dough feels a little dry, feel free to add milk.

Step Five - Once the dough is ready, refrigerate it for 30 minutes minimum. This is an important step and you cannot miss it! In the meantime, you can preheat your oven for 15 minutes at 180 degrees.

Step Six - To start baking, you need to set parchment paper on a baking-friendly tray. Once done, make small balls from the dough and press them slightly with your thumb. Refrain from making big circles as when the cookie bakes, it expands.

Step Seven - Bake the cookies for 12 minutes. After this, take the tray out and add some white chocolate chips and bake for another 5 minutes. This will ensure that white chocolate chip does not get brown.

Step Eight - Once done, take the cookies out and let them sit on the tray for 10 minutes. Do not overbake the cookies.

Voila, your tasty and sumptuous cookies are all set to be served!
