Macau is a semi-autonomous region of China and is the Gambling hub of Asia. The city depicts the height of development that China has reached. The best time to visit Macau is between March to April and October to December. A trip of 2 to 3 days will be sufficient to explore Macau. Visa is on arrival. Apart from all beauty and glamour, Macau offers old ancient Chinese Temples built by the original fishing community. 1. Ruins of St. Paul’s: The ruin reminds us of the Portuguese colonial past of the region. There are paintings of the Virgin Mary enshrined in the façade of the church. The steps leading to the façade are the best place to take pictures. One can visit the place even at night to beat the crowd built up. The lighting at the night gives a unique opportunity to take pictures.

2. The Venetian Macau: This is the heart of Macau. An interlinked series of 5-star hotels and malls. It’s best to stay in one of the hotels linked to Venetian so that one can easily walk around to explore malls and casinos. One can also hop on to Gondola Rides inside Venetian.

3. Macau Tower Convention and Entertainment Centre: This is the biggest building in the city and offers a stunning view from its observatory of the city and lakeside of the southwestern shore from a height of 338 meters. Adventurous tourists can also indulge in bungee jumping from the tower.




4. A- MA Temple: This Chinese temple was built in 1488 and is one of the oldest buildings in the country. The majestic path from the entrance leads to a big rock on which magical words are inscribed. One can offer scented sticks and cash as one desire during the prayer. It was supposed to be a place where fishermen used to offer prayers before entering the sea.

5. City of Dream: This is famous for its live shows, gala events, concerts, etc. One should not miss the live shows as they are performed and choreographed by the world’s best artists. There is no language spoken in the shows as the acts are self-explanatory.
